Creative Films director, Craig Walsh
"Following in my father's footsteps, I love the art of storytelling. What better way to express this than to celebrate the joining of two lives. I feel that a wedding is the most rewarding special event to be involved with - capturing two lives, two hearts, two families." Craig Walsh, "The Video Guy", is a former TVNZ camera operator and editor. He was the founder of KOR Creative, the director of Tribute Media, and The Pink Floyd Experience's creative director.
A Family Tradition
Craig started Creative Films (previously Creative Video) when he was a teenager. Inspired by his father and grandfather who were both in the industry, he was exposed to the power of film at an early age. Video and capturing moments in time were - and are still - his passion.
Craig's talent lies in capturing the beauty and intimacy of those quiet, precious moments that many couples miss as they're caught up in the midst their wedding day. His effervescent personality and genuine love for what he does have held him in high regard with the couples and their families.
I understand how important it is to be unobtrusive - in fact, it is vital to capture natural emotions, and the genuine atmosphere of the day. Discretion ensures that we garner everything that is natural on your day - and nothing that isn't.
You shouldn't have to wait ages for your wedding video, which is why we aim to have your film finished within four weeks.
(If there are special reasons why you need your copy even sooner than this, please let me know and I'll accommodate your request as best I can.)
There are no silly questions. Talk to me about anything! I've had the pleasure of attending hundreds of weddings, and can share some great stories.
However, on the day, please ignore me. I shan't take it personally - and it will make for a better video.
